Keeping the tradition this Holy Month of Ramadan, City Center Rotana Doha invites you to visit their beautiful Almas Ramadan Tent for lavish Iftar and Suhoor buffets.
I recently joined their exclusive Media Night Suhoor with other bloggers, influencers, and VIP guests and here are my impressions:
Like in the previous year, Almas Ballroom hosts this year’s Ramadan tent. Spacious with minimal decor, it is a breath of fresh air to see a rather simple set up while maximizing the area with plenty of seats.
Food stations are scattered across the hall and foyer which is a bit confusing. Salad station is one corner, Sushi station on the other. It could have been nice to see a signage for convenience. But overall, the blue motif brings that nice and relaxed atmosphere.
The spread features an extensive range of Arabic delicacies, International cuisine, live cooking stations and soft beverages to cater to everyone.
From Arabic mezze to Asian cuisines, choices are absolutely plenty. Live cooking stations offer fresh saj and shawarma, pasta, crepes and sushi rolls among others.
I am particularly impressed to see salmon in cream sauce which to me is a rare sight among the buffets I’ve been to lately. If you love Teatro‘s sushi, you’ll be delighted that the sushi station is from them.
Desserts are available at the foyer. An array of traditional Arabic sweets and popular desserts are sure to entice everybody. The milk and chocolate fountain steals the show and absolutely tempting not to dip a fruit or two.
Keeping the vibe relaxed and laid back, live entertainment and shisha are also available all month long.
Starting from only QR 195 per person for Iftar (sunset until 9:00 PM ) and an even affordable rate at QR 125 for Suhoor (from 9:30 PM to 1 AM), there are plenty of reasons why you should give it a try.
