It’s La Noche Espanola at Olive Oil City Center Rotana

Olive Oil, City Center Rotana‘s popular all-day dining restaurant, recently unveiled their new Spanish Night—La Noche Espanola happening every Tuesday. This is a welcome addition to their other theme nights: French Bistro (Sundays) and Sicilian Mafia (Thursdays). I was invited along with other members of media to try their latest offering.

Olive Oil is located at the 1st Floor, City Center Rotana Doha.

The Best of Spain

Diners will surely love authentic Spanish cuisines meticulously prepared by outlet chef and Valencia-native Adriana Toledo. In a casual conversation, she shared: “We are happy to welcome guests to Olive Oil to try a distinctive selection of Spanish dishes made using only the best and most authentic products, and showcasing the unique flavors of each region in Spain. Our Spanish Theme Night menu at Olive Oil has been designed to properly showcase that beautiful tradition.

Rotana’s Outlet Chef and Valencia native Adriana Toledo meticulously prepared the Spanish Night Menu.

From classic Paella (Valencia), to Pulpo ala Gallega (Galicia), to popular Churros (Madrid), every region is well represented along with a wide selection of tapas and sangrias.

The Buffet Menu

Compared to most buffets around town, this one is on the modest side. Choices are limited but as what Chef Adriana noted, they are offering the best of the region. A clear case of quality over quantity. I personally enjoyed what was being offered and I’m glad to see dishes that I was familiar with along with few surprises. Here are my impressions and recommendations of must-try dishes on your next visit.
